Frequently asked questions.

No. InScola runs on a server inside your school and works entirely offline over your local network — by cable or Wi-Fi. The internet is only needed to send SMS and email notifications to parents. A power cut won't stop it either, as long as the server is on a small UPS.
On your own server, in your own building. Nothing is sent to a third-party cloud. You own the machine, the data, and the backups — and if you ever stop renewing your licence, your records stay exactly where they are.
Yes — natively. Marks out of 20, sequences and terms, coefficient-weighted averages, conduct and class council decisions, Ministry-format report cards, GCE mock results (A–U), and O-Level & A-Level transcripts are all built into the core. It works in both English and French.
Most schools are live within a few days — often before the next sequence. We install InScola on your server, import your student and staff lists from Excel, set up your structure and fees, and train your staff (usually a single day is enough).
Optionally, yes. InScola is on-premise by default, but you can grant teachers secure online access to enter marks remotely — without exposing the rest of your school's data to the internet.
Your previous structure, settings and fee structures are copied into the new year — so you simply update what changed instead of starting from scratch. One-click promotion moves classes forward, carries unpaid balances with each student, and keeps last year's records intact.
SMS and email run on a transparent credit system. You can see exactly how many credits you've used and top up whenever you choose — no surprise bills and no hidden metering.
